Good situation next to the beach. Nice pool. Free pickup from the pier and transfer back to the pier at the end of our stay (10 nights, booked in advance).
Staff not particularly friendly. No towels to dry hands/hair, when we asked for soap to wash our hands, we were told there was "no soap"(!), but eventually got some 4 days later. Hot water was not always guaranteed. Internet was not complimentary and when paid for, the computers at the reception did not work. No safe in the room, and you have to pay for a safe at the reception. The restaurant attached to the resort provided minimalistic breakfast (restricted choice and small portions, we had the impression of a tight-fisted management), and the service was appalling: young waiters, either lying on the bars or staring at the sea, extremely slow, not friendly, no greeting, hardly understood or spoke a word of English. The resort is both falling into slow decrepitude and expanding, which means constant noise due to the works. We do not associate this experience with the term "Deluxe" that described our room, a room which was clearly overpriced. Had we not booked in advance, we would have left after the first night.

Plenty of food at the excellent breakfast. Particularly good location next door to Sairee Clinic. Great trip in this charming area near to the two loudest outdoor bars on Sairee Beach, the beach and the three pools where excellent and all the dive schools, 7-eleven, restaurants and bars.

Location and garden.
Very unfriendly reception staff. No information apon arrival, eating behind receptiondesk, watching television instead helping customers. Above that my son made a inkt spot on a sheet. They tried to rip us of saying we had to pay for a new sheet eur 22! They were al second handed and not clean! Poor breakfast. Look for an other place if you care about a welcome adress, there are a lot around on ko tao.

The room itself was actually ok. Clean, and good beds. Location is directly near the beach and you can have breakfast directly at the ocean and they offer a really awsome musli with jogurt and fruit.
Everything was tacky and outworn. This is from being run over by backpackers for to long. But what I really didn't like was the stress level induced by all this myriads of bargaining catch hunting budget travellers. Every place you looked was a warning sign, or notice or any kind of info display for rules, extras fees, or whatever. So, good for partying along, when you in your 20ties, but no class or style whatsoever.
